On October 3, 2024, the Center for Injury Prevention and Research, Bangladesh (CIPRB), in partnership with Bangladesh Shishu Academy (BSA) and Synergos Bangladesh, will host a program titled “Child Rights Week 2024 - Prevention of Drowning is the Right of Every Child,” celebrating World Children's Day and Children's Rights Week 2024.

Ms. Nazma Mobarek, Secretary of the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs (MoWCA), will attend as the chief guest. Ms. Tania Khan, Additional Secretary, MoWCA, and Director General (Additional Charge), BSA will preside over the event—the Project Director of the ICBC Project Most. Ferdousi Begum will deliver the vote of thanks, while Prof. Dr. AKM Fazlur Rahman, the Executive Director of CIPRB will extend a warm welcome to all guests. Dr. Aminur Rahman, Deputy Executive Director of CIPRB, will present the keynote address, followed by a panel discussion titled "Preventing Drowning is Not a Special Privilege for Children; It's a Fundamental Right." The discussion will be moderated by Ms. Esha Husain, Country Director, Synergos Bangladesh.
